Eventually the\u00a0<a title=\"Temperance movement\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Temperance_movement\">Temperance movement<\/a>\u00a0led to the passing of\u00a0<a title=\"Prohibition in the United States\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Prohibition_in_the_United_States\">Prohibition<\/a>, the\u00a0<a title=\"Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Eighteenth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution\">18th Amendment<\/a>\u00a0to the U.S. Constitution.
