\u201cDisney\u2019s Snow White\u201d is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film.<\/p>\n

The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy,<\/p>\n

Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy. \u201cDisney\u2019s Snow White\u201d is directed by Marc Webb and produced\u00a0 by Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer, and features all-new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul<\/p>\n

Disney’s Snow White<\/b><\/i>,<\/sup>\u00a0or simply\u00a0Snow White<\/b><\/i>, is an upcoming American\u00a0musical<\/a>\u00a0fantasy film<\/a>\u00a0directed by\u00a0Marc Webb<\/a>\u00a0from a screenplay by\u00a0Greta Gerwig<\/a><\/p>\n

and\u00a0Erin Cressida Wilson<\/a>. Produced by\u00a0Walt Disney Pictures<\/a>\u00a0and Marc Platt Productions, it is a live-action\u00a0reimagining <\/a><\/sup>of\u00a0Walt Disney Productions<\/a>‘ 1937<\/p>\n

animated film\u00a0Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs<\/a><\/i>, which itself is based on the 1812 fairy tale \u00ab\u00a0Snow White<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb by the\u00a0Brothers Grimm<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The film stars\u00a0Rachel Zegler<\/a>,\u00a0Andrew Burnap<\/a>, and\u00a0Gal Gadot<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Plans for a remake of 1937’s\u00a0Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs<\/i>\u00a0were confirmed in October 2016, with Wilson announced as a screenwriter. Webb entered talks to direct the film in May 2019 and was announced as director in September 2019. Filming took place primarily in\u00a0London, England<\/a>, from March to July 2022, with additional filming and\u00a0pick-ups<\/a>\u00a0taking place in June 2024. The film elicited pre-release controversies, with criticism levied against the\u00a0color-blind casting<\/a>, story changes, Zegler’s public disapproval of the original film, and reimagining of the Seven Dwarfs.<\/p>\n

Snow White<\/i>\u00a0is scheduled to be released in theaters in the United States by\u00a0Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures<\/a> on March 21, 2025.<\/p>\n
